Chief Executive Officer
Manolis Christodoulakis is the CEO of Finmatek, an innovative RegTech company offering technologically advanced solutions to businesses, such as investment firms and banks, to fulfil their regulatory reporting obligations. At the same time, Manolis also offers lectures to postgraduate Computer Engineering students of the University of Cyprus, in the topics of algorithm design and analysis and the theory of NP-completeness.
Manolis received his PhD from the Department of Computer Science in King’s College London, UK (2005), where he studied the “art” of Algorithm Design and specialized in algorithms for sequence analysis. Before that, Manolis obtained a combined BSc/MSc degree from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras, Greece (2001).
Prior to joining Finmatek, Manolis worked as a Software Developer for 3 years (2015-2018), designing, implementing, and maintaining software mainly in C++ and Linux. Previously he worked as a researcher at the KIOS Research Center for Intelligent Systems and Networks (University of Cyprus), and as a lecturer at numerous universities including: University of Cyprus (full-time, 2009-2015), Cyprus University of Technology (part-time, 2012-2014), Open University of Cyprus (part-time, 2014-2016), University of East London (full-time, 2007-2009). Manolis’ research activity has contributed to the design of algorithms in the interdisciplinary fields of bioinformatics and biomedical engineering and has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and conferences
Demetris A. Tsingis

Demetris A. Tsingis founded FINCAP Advisers in late 2016 as its Managing Partner, previously serving as a Partner headinAg the Financial Regulation & Advisory, London Office and Executive Academy departments in one of the leading advisory firms of Cyprus. Demetris holds a BSc in Government & Economics (LSE) and an MBA with Honours in Finance, Entrepreneurial Management and Private Equity & Venture Capital (Wharton Business School) with a Fulbright Scholarship. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA/BFP), a practicing member of the ICPAC Cyprus and of the ICAEW UK, a CYSEC advanced and AML examinations holder, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (Ch. MCSI), an approved HRDA External Trainer, a licensed Mediator and a licensed Insolvency Practitioner amongst other qualifications. He further is a part-time PhD candidate in Entrepreneurship with Warwick Business School.
Demetris worked on Private Equity and Investment Banking clients during his time at Arthur Andersen/Deloitte in London, in M&A in BNP Paribas New York, Private Banking in Bank of Cyprus before returning to the financial advisory space in 2013 specializing on investment funds, investment firms, fintech and payment services. He has further worked with regulators across the globe such as CySEC, CBC, MFSA, FCA, AMF Canada, SEC US, CIMA Cayman, FSA Seychelles, IFSC Belize, ASIC Australia and FSMA Belgium. Demetris has served as an elected local Councillor of Strovolos Municipality (2007-2016), a board member of the Nicosia Sewerage Board (2012-2016) and as the President of COOP Bank Strovolou in 2014. Demetris is currently serving as the Founding President of the Kuwait Cyprus Business Association of the CCCI, is a Fellow of the Cyprus International Institute of Management since 2006 and lectured in the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition since 2007. Furthermore, he also served as a member of the Public Entities Committee of the ICPAC and of the Fund Administration & Custody Services Committee of the CIFA. In 2018-2019 he served as a board member of the National Betting Authority and in 2019 he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Housing Finance Corporation (HFC) Board, the only remaining state owned bank in Cyprus. He is further serving since 2018 as the first Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Cyprus.
Constantinos G. Mitsingas

Constantinos G. Mitsingas studied Accounting and Finance (BA (Hons)) at the London South Bank University in the United Kingdom and became a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus since 2011. He has successfully become a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2016 and is in process to achieve an MBA with Open University Cyprus.
Constantinos commenced his career in 2003 with Moore Stephens Stylianou & Co in Cyprus and worked in the Audit and Accounting Divisions. From 2006 to 2016 he worked with KPMG Cyprus as Senior Manager in the Audit Division. During his 13 years of external audit, tax and accounting experience Constantinos has catered towards statutory needs of leading banks in Cyprus, multinational groups with operations spread across Eastern Europe and Asia and listed entities in the Cyprus, London and Warsaw stock exchange. He has had a plethora of hands-on experience addressing the reporting requirements of financial services institutions and has been at the forefront of regulatory developments in the banking arena.
